Snapchat Launches "Dynamic Ads"

As promise I have started to migrate away from Twitter, and this week am delving into some Snapchat updates. This update consists of dynamic ads, which is make it easier and more effective for brands to target their audiences. The process is the brand will upload a product catalog, from which they can choose what ones they want to use for ads and Snapchat will create multiple templates they can then choose from. They will also then select the appropriate audience and Snapchat will show these ads to users as they are relevant and see fit. It helps cut down on the creative process time and the process of updating listings. While I think this is interesting and a major new feature for brands to get their products out there, I think it could also backfire. Brands get seen based off their creativity so it's also like leveling out brands and making them all look the same. I don't know if it will help a lesser known brand by making their product ads look the same as their competitors. Will it said in testing the dynamic ads did well, I think it will be interesting to see if brands like this or if it will flop. I guess it is nice there are multiple different templates, so not every brand's ads will look the same and you can find one that better fits your brand's identity, but I'm not sure how well that will go over still.
