Schedule Your Tweets, from the App

Twitter released that it is testing a scheduling option within the tweet composer. This would be a huge game changer as it would that people would no longer need to use a third-party app to schedule their tweets. I'm not sure why this wasn't thought of sooner. While scheduling posts or tweets isn't new by any means, it is new to have the option in the Twitter app to schedule the tweets. While many social media managers would already have a third-party app where they can schedule all their postings in one place, it might make things easier for those who are on the go a lot. The function seems simple enough.

I think the major point will be whether people begin to use it. I could see this function being helpful to those who are smaller business owners as well and may not know much about third party scheduling apps. It would also be nice for everyday people who don't work in the social media field. If people have an announcement to make at a specific time, this would allow them to do so. I also can't imagine how it may change influencers' and ambassadors' lives. It'll be interesting to see how the feature plays out in the next year or so and see if Twitter will fully release it to the public. If you want to read more about the possible new feature, you can find the article here.
